A listing is something guests can book: a house, a villa, an apartment, or a building whose units are let separately. Create one for each property you rent out.

Before you start

  • Decide what you’re listing. A house, villa or apartment let as a whole is A single property. A building with apartments or rooms let separately is A building with units; see Buildings and units.

Steps

1

Start a new listing

Go to Listings and click Add listing.
2

Say what you're listing

Under What are you listing?, choose A single property or A building with units. You can’t change this later.Fill in:
  • Public title: the name guests see on your booking site and booking sites, like “Sea View Villa with Pool”.
  • Nickname (optional): a short internal name for your team, like “Beach House”. Overviu shows it instead of the title in your own lists.
  • Property type: apartment, villa, house and so on.
Click Create listing. The listing opens on its Details tab.
3

Fill in the basics

On Details → Basics, fill in:
  • Maximum guests, Bedrooms, Beds and Bathrooms (tick Half bath for a toilet without a shower), and the Bathroom type;
  • Check-in time and Check-out time;
  • Timezone and Currency: prices and bookings for this listing use this currency;
  • Registration number, if your tourism authority gives you one;
  • under Suitability: Children allowed, Pets allowed, Suitable for events and Smoking allowed.
Click Save basics.
4

Add prices

Set the nightly prices on the Pricing tab and the minimum stay on the Availability tab. See Prices and stay rules.
5

Publish it

New listings are Draft: only your team sees them. When the listing is ready, go back to Details → Basics, set Status to Active and click Save basics.
Listings have three statuses:

Your plan’s limit

Each plan includes a number of units: a single property is one unit, and a building counts its units (not itself). When the plan is full, Overviu says so when you click Create listing, and you can upgrade the plan to add more. There’s no limit during the free trial. See Plan and billing.
