Every Direct booking has its own page on your booking site. The guest gets the link by email when they book, and uses the page to pay, check in online and, once that’s done, see how to get in. You don’t have to chase paperwork: the page asks for each thing in turn.

What the guest sees

  • Your booking: the listing, dates, guests and Price details, with what’s paid and Still to pay.
  • Online check-in: the steps below, each marked Done, In progress, Needs attention or still to do. Next step takes them to the first open one.
  • Your arrival pack: the address, door code and Wi-Fi, marked Unlocks when online check-in is complete until every step is done. See Guest resources.
  • Questions about your stay?: your contact email and phone, from your booking site settings.

The online check-in steps

Only the steps that apply to the booking are shown, in this order: Some details worth knowing:
  • An ID check counts for 12 months: a guest who verified with your team in the last year isn’t asked again. Without Stripe, the step isn’t shown and the page says you’ll check their ID when they arrive.
  • If you change the booking after the guest signed, the page asks them to sign the updated agreement. Signed copies never change.
  • Stripe charges your Stripe account for each ID check.

Following check-in from the booking

On the booking in Overviu, the Guest page section shows each step’s state, so you can see who still has to do what.
  • Copy guest link copies the page’s address to send yourself, and Resend email sends the guest the link again.
  • Reset guest link makes a new link and stops the old one, for example when it was forwarded to the wrong person. Send the new one to the guest.
  • Mark as verified records that you checked the guest’s ID yourself, with a note. View in Stripe opens a Stripe check.
  • Mark as signed (on paper) records a paper agreement. Download saves a signed agreement as a PDF.

Guest sign-in

Guests can also sign in on your booking site to see all their bookings with you. They click Sign in, enter their email, and get a 6-digit code by email: no password needed. My bookings lists their Upcoming and Past and cancelled stays, each linking to its booking page.
