# Photos and the listing page

> Add photos, amenities and a description, choose what your booking site's listing page shows, and keep the door code and Wi-Fi for guests.

Your booking site gives every active listing its own page. This guide covers what fills it: photos, amenities, the headline and description, the extras on the **Listing page** tab, and the guest resources (door code and Wi-Fi) guests get before they arrive.

For a building, the listing page shows the building's photos, description and **Listing page** tab. Each unit type has its own photos and amenities, shown on its card on that page.

## Photos

<Steps>
  <Step title="Upload">
    Open the listing → **Details** → **Photos** and click **Upload photos**. Pick one or several at once: JPG, PNG or WebP, up to 10 MB each.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Put them in order">
    Drag photos by their handle to reorder them. Guests see them in this order.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Choose the cover">
    The first photo you upload is **Featured**: it's the cover on your booking site and in your lists. To pick another, click **Set featured** on it.
  </Step>
</Steps>

Deleting the featured photo makes the first remaining photo the cover.

## Amenities

On **Details** → **Amenities**, tick everything the place has, grouped by kind (popular, kitchen and dining, outdoor and so on), and click **Save amenities**. Guests see them on the listing page.

## Headline and description

On **Details** → **Additional details**:

* **Headline**: a short marketing line for the top of the listing page;
* **Description**: the full description of the place, up to 10,000 characters (the screen suggests at least 400, which booking sites like);
* **House rules / agreement addendum**: your house rules. They're added to the rental agreement as `{house_rules}`. A unit type can leave this empty to use the building's. See [Terms and the rental agreement](/booking-site/terms-and-agreement).

The same tab holds **Minimum renter age**, **Payment method**, and the **Cancellation policy (Airbnb)** and **Cancellation policy (Vrbo)** you use on those sites. Click **Save details**.

## The listing page tab

The **Listing page** tab holds what the booking site shows beyond the basics:

* **Highlights (up to 3)**: pick up to three, like **Self check-in**, **Sea view** or **Free parking**. They're shown near the top of the page.
* **Safety & property**: tick what the place has or guests should know about, like a **Smoke alarm**, a **First aid kit** or a **Pool or hot tub without a gate or lock**. If you tick **Exterior security cameras**, say where they are and what they cover.
* **About the area**: a few lines about the neighbourhood, shown under the map (up to 2,000 characters).
* **Things to do nearby**: click **Add a place** for each, with a **Name**, a **Distance** like "15 min drive" and a **Photo (optional)**.

Click **Save listing page**.

## Guest resources

On **Details** → **Guest resources**, fill in the **Wi-Fi network name**, the **Wi-Fi password** and the **Door code**, and click **Save guest resources**. Leave a field empty when there's nothing to share.

Guests see these, with the address, in the arrival pack on their booking page, but only once they've finished online check-in (for example, the ID check and the rental agreement, when you ask for them). Until then the arrival pack shows them as locked.

Your [automated messages](/guests/automated-messages) can include them too, with `{door_code}`, `{wifi_name}` and `{wifi_password}`. Before the guest has finished online check-in, a message shows "Finish your online check-in to see this" in their place, with a link to the booking page.
