# Overviu API

> Read your listings and availability, and create and manage bookings, from your own systems.

The Overviu API lets your own systems work with your team's data: a channel manager, a website of your own, a spreadsheet or an automation tool.

With it you can:

* read your listings, with their photos;
* check availability and the price of a stay;
* create, change and cancel bookings;
* read your guests;
* read what your booking site shows (listings, calendars and prices) without a token, for example to build your own booking pages.

## Base URL

```text theme={null}
https://api.overviu.app/api/v1
```

Every request and response is JSON. Send `Accept: application/json`, and `Content-Type: application/json` when you send a body.

```bash theme={null}
curl https://api.overviu.app/api/v1/me \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_TOKEN" \
  -H "Accept: application/json"
```

## Versioning

The version is part of the path: `v1`. Within `v1`, Overviu only makes changes that don't break existing clients, such as new endpoints or new fields in a response. A change that would break clients comes as a new version, with its own path.
