# Plan and billing

> Overviu's plans and how many units each includes, the free trial, and managing your subscription and invoices.

Each team has its own plan, paid by the team's owner. Plans differ mainly in how many units you can list.

<Note>Only the team's owner can choose a plan or manage billing.</Note>

## Plans

| Plan | For | Units |
| - | - | - |
| **Solo** | Small holiday-rental owners getting started | Up to 5 |
| **Pro** | Growing property managers | Up to 25 |

Plans are billed monthly or yearly. The billing page shows the current prices.

### What counts as a unit

* A single property is one unit.
* A building counts its units (the apartments or rooms), not itself.
* Listings in the trash don't count.

When the plan is full, Overviu stops you adding a listing or a unit, and restoring a listing from the trash, with a message to upgrade. See [Create a listing](/listings/create-a-listing#your-plans-limit).

## The free trial

Every new team gets a 14-day free trial, with no unit limit and no card needed. Your team's page in **Settings** → **Teams** shows **Free trial** under **Subscription**, and the **Dashboard** reminds you a week before it ends.

## Choose a plan

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open your team">
    Open the user menu → **Settings** → **Teams**, and open the team.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Subscribe">
    Under **Subscription**, click **Subscribe**. Pick a plan, monthly or yearly, and pay by card.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## Manage billing

Under **Subscription**, click **Manage billing** to:

* switch between plans, or between monthly and yearly;
* update your card;
* download your invoices;
* cancel the subscription.

If a payment for your plan fails, the **Dashboard** tells you under **Needs attention**: update your card to keep using Overviu.

<Note>Your plan pays Overviu. It's separate from the guest payments you take through [your own Stripe account](/payments/connect-stripe).</Note>
